When are the school board meetings scheduled? What's the purpose of holding board meetings publicly?

  • Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month.  Open session begins at 6 pm.  
  • The Meeting calendar can be found here. 
  • School boards are required to hold their meetings in public setting. The business of the board is to be conducted in public, however, the board meeting is not a meeting with the public. Interactions of the board with the public are limited by the Brown Act.
