Trustee Lisa Pelosi has been a proud member of the Board since January 2017.  Lisa, Paul, and their children have lived in St. Helena since 2004, relocating from San Francisco.  Their three children have all attended St. Helena Schools (Jake, class of 2014, Joey, class of 2017 and Mia, class of 2019).

Lisa is a graduate of UCSB, receiving a bachelor's degree in Political Science.  She lived in Santa Barbara for nine years before returning to her hometown of San Francisco.  She continues to work full-time in the field of property and estate management with Honeydew Napa Valley. 

Lisa has been a very active parent volunteer since her children entered the school district. She has served on the Parent Groups, School Site Council, The St. Helena Public Schools Foundation, the Community Oversight Bond Committee for Measures B/C, a steering committee member of the Give Big!, and various other District committees. 

Lisa currently serves as Board President until December 2023 and was re-elected in November 2022 to serve an additional 2 year term.

President Pelosi is a staunch advocate and believer in public education. She believes communities and society benefit greatly when all children are afforded the opportunity to be educated. "Our school district is very fortunate to have such committed staff and parents involved in educating and supporting all our students".
