The goal of the RLS discipline policy is to foster a safe and welcoming environment for all students and staff. Our teachers and office staff are trained in and use the Responsibility Centered Discipline program (RCD), which is an approach based on developing responsible students and teaching them the skills they need to help them learn to make good decisions on their own.

Lessons taught in Family Groups are designed to reinforce our values, to support social-emotional wellness, and to help students understand how to be successful in school and in life.
