Citizens' Oversight Committee Vacancy
St. Helena Unified School District is accepting applications from interested citizens to serve on the District’s independent Oversight Committee with respect to its general obligation bonds approved by District voters at elections held on November 2, 2010 (Measure B) and November 6, 2012 (Measure C).
The Committee was originally formed following approval of Measure B and consists of seven members which meet, review and report on expenditures of funds to ensure money is used only for voter-approved purposes.
At this time, there are FIVE vacant seats on the Committee which the Board needs to fill. Applicants must fit in one of the following categories: (a) Parent/Guardian of a Child Enrolled in the District (one member); (b) Member of the Community-at-Large (two members); (c) Member active in a business organization (one member); (d) Member of a senior citizens' organization (one member).
