As part of the accountability program implemented by the state of California, all school districts must develop an accountability program focused on eight (8) priority areas related to student achievement. Specifically, these areas of focus include:
- Basic Services (Teacher Quality, Instructional Materials, and Facilities)
- Implementation of the Common Core State Standards
- Parent Involvement
- Student Achievement
- Student Engagement
- School Climate
- Course Access
- Other Student Outcomes (Local Measures)
Each month, the SHUSD School Board hears presentations regarding sections of the LCAP. Click here for the list of Monthly Board Presentations for the 2024-25 school year.
